Firefighting forces were mobilised on Wednesday afternoon after a fire broke out near the Achnarka forest in the Ayia Anna area, close to a residential area.
The fire has been contained within a riverbed, known as Arkaki, while five aircraft are assisting efforts to bring the blaze fully under control.
The fire service is supporting the operation with three fire engines.
