
A total of 723 burglaries and thefts were registered in Cyprus during the first half of 2026, of which 436, or 60.3 per cent, were solved, according to official police statistics released on Monday.
Of the total, 449 were burglaries, with 302 solved, while 134 of the 274 theft cases were solved.
Limassol recorded the highest number of burglaries, with 162 cases, of which 114 were solved.
