The Nicosia district court on Wednesday was asked to rule on whether statements attributed to 14-year-old Stylianos Constantinou can be admitted as evidence in the criminal trial concerning his death by suicide.
The issue concerns the admissibility of hearsay evidence and arose following the completion of the cross-examination of criminal investigator Andreas Andreou and at the start of testimony by Konstantina Papachristodoulou, who was Stylianos’ kindergarten teacher during the 2008-2009
