
The visit of United Nations undersecretary-general for peace operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix to Cyprus is “important”, government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis said on Monday.
He told the Cyprus News Agency that Lacroix’s visit was “planned”, and that the undersecretary-general’s planned meeting with President Nikos Christodoulides will see the pair have “an exchange of views regarding the latest developments in the Cyprus problem”.
