Seventeen drivers were found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and two under the influence of drugs during overnight police operations carried out across Cyprus, authorities said.
According to the police, a total of 625 vehicles were stopped during Sunday night operations, while 766 drivers and passengers were checked.
