A boat was completely destroyed by a fire which broke out in the Larnaca district village of Kofinou , the police said on Sunday.
The boat had been on the back of a trailer in a field in the village, which does not have a coastline.
The fire was noticed at around 3.50am, with the fire brigade arriving on the scene to extinguish it.
