President Nikos Christodoulides expressed “deep concern” over what he described as “ indiscriminate strikes against civilians and critical infrastructure ” by Israel on Lebanon during a telephone call with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, according to a statement by government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis, on Thursday.
Christodoulides conveyed Cyprus’ full solidarity with the government and people of Lebanon, stressing that there can be no justification for actions causing widespread suffering among civilians
