The creation of a national cancer institute is a “significant institutional development” strengthening the oncological care in Cyprus, the Pancyprian Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (Pasykaf) said on Monday.
“ The success of the new institution will depend to a significant extent on its connection to frontline services , the community and the real needs of people affected by cancer,” the association said.
