Six people arrested during nationwide operations on Sunday night aimed at tackling crime and public offences, police reported on Monday.
The arrests were made for burglary, theft, knife possession and various traffic violations.
During the operation, officers stopped 528 vehicles and checked 709 drivers and passengers .
Police carried out inspections of premises, which led to nine complaints over breaches of operating permits.
