A police constable has been detained in connection with an alleged assault on a mobile speed camera driver on the Paphos to Limassol highway, with a court on Wednesday granting a two-day remand to support ongoing investigations.
The latest development saw the 44-year-old police constable arrested under a court warrant on Tuesday, on the instructions of police-chief Themistos Arnaoutis.
A second suspect, aged 37, also remains in custody in relation
