A 35-year-old man was arrested on Saturday afternoon after allegedly attacking a police officer and setting a car on fire outside a house in Nicosia.
According to the police, officers were called to a residence at around 2pm after reports that a man outside the property was causing concern.
When a police officer attempted to arrest him, the suspect allegedly attacked the officer, striking him in the face .
