The primary school in the village of Akrotiri, as well as the village’s nursery school and environmental education centre, will remain closed on Monday next week , the education ministry said on Friday.
All three locations have been closed since the nearby British Akrotiri air force base was hit by an Iranian-made drone shortly after midnight last Monday, with the ministry saying that their continued closure is a “precautionary measure”.
