The 41-year-old man who disturbed a church mass in Yeroskipou before Easter was sentenced to six months in prison by Paphos District Court on Monday.
The man had been arrested after shouting and behaving aggressively during a service in the the church of Ayia Paraskevi and later went on to assault the officers that were called to the scene.
